At Mealboy.ca (βMealboyβ, βweβ, βusβ, or βourβ), we aim to provide high-quality meals and reliable delivery. Due to the nature of food and meal preparation, all sales are generally final. However, refunds, replacements, or store credit may be provided in certain situations as outlined below.

Order Errors, Missing Items, and Portion Issues
If you receive an incorrect meal, missing items, or a meal portion that is smaller than what was ordered, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
Depending on the situation, we may offer:

Replacement meal

Store credit (difference in value will be issued as store credit)

Partial or full refund (for eligible payment methods)
We may request photos for verification.
Payment-Based Resolution

Credit/Debit Card Payments: incorrect charges may be reversed and the corrected amount charged.

Cash or Interac Payments:
-
If the corrected order costs more, the customer must pay the difference.

If it costs less, the difference will be issued as store credit.

All cash payments for monthly orders are final sale and non-refundable.
Food Quality Concerns
We ensure meals are freshly prepared using quality ingredients. Refunds, credits, or replacements may be considered if food is wrong, missing, or has quality issues.
Refunds are not provided for personal taste or preference.
No refund, discount, or store credit will be issued if:

25% or more of the meal has been consumed, or
-
The meal has been discarded, repackaged, or tampered with.
Cancellations, Skips, and Pauses
Plans Not Eligible for Skip or Pause
Skip or pause is not available for:
1-day, 2-day, 3-day, 4-day, and weekly meal plans.
Monthly Meal Plans

Up to 2 skips biweekly, or 1 pause per month (not both).

Requests must be from requests page before 11:59 PM, one day in advance, or email us at Support@mealboy.ca

Late requests cannot be accommodated.
Subscription Cancellation and Refunds
Subscription cancellations are reviewed case by case.
If a refund is approved for monthly packages and paid via credit card, debit card, or Interac e-transfer:

Meals already consumed will be charged based on the per-day meal price.

A $10 cancellation/administration fee will be deducted.
-
Remaining balance will be refunded to the original payment method within 5β7 business days.
All cash payments for monthly orders are final sale and not eligible for refund.
Delivery Issues and Missed Deliveries
Delivery Time Windows
Deliveries occur within published delivery windows. Exact delivery times cannot be guaranteed due to traffic and route conditions.
If Customer Is Unavailable
If the driver arrives and cannot reach you:

The driver may leave the order at the safest available location and notify you, or
-
Wait up to 5 minutes before continuing deliveries.
No refunds or credits will be issued in these situations.
Leave-at-Door Deliveries
If you choose βleave at door/lobby/back door,β photo proof of delivery will be provided.
Mealboy is not responsible for stolen meals after delivery if instructions were followed.
Upstairs Delivery Option

Upstairs delivery is available for an additional $2.00 per day.

Drivers will only provide upstairs delivery if this option is purchased.

Manual requests without payment may be declined.
In downtown areas where parking is unavailable:

Driver will attempt upstairs delivery on Day 1 and discuss alternatives.

If upstairs delivery cannot be accommodated, a full refund of the upstairs delivery fee will be issued.
Policy Abuse
Mealboy reserves the right to refuse refunds or credits if repeated requests or suspected abuse of policy is detected.
Policy Updates
Mealboy may update this policy at any time. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the latest version.
