Mealboy uses a route-based sequential delivery system designed for efficiency and timely service across multiple areas.

  • Drivers collect meals from a central kitchen or hub.

  • Deliveries follow an optimized route.

  • Because of this system, specific delivery time requests cannot be guaranteed.

This approach allows us to offer wide-area service and affordable or free delivery where applicable.

Delivery times may vary by 45–60 minutes due to traffic, weather, building access, or route changes.

Customers must provide clear and accurate delivery instructions at checkout.

Due to our route-based delivery system:

  • Drivers are not required to deliver upstairs unless an upstairs delivery option is purchased.

  • Please select a ground-level drop-off location such as lobby, reception, or front door when applicable.

If you select β€œCall on Arrival”:

  • The driver will attempt to contact you upon arrival.

  • If there is no response, the driver may wait up to 5 minutes.

  • After 5 minutes, the driver may leave the meal at the safest available location or proceed to the next stop.

  • No refunds or credits will be issued in these situations.

If meals are left at your location:

  • Drivers will take a photo as proof of delivery.

  • The photo link may be sent via notification or available in your delivery message.

 
 

🏠 Safety at Delivery Location

If you live in a house:

  • We recommend leaving a covered container or safe drop spot to protect meals from animals or insects.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the selected drop location is safe and accessible.


πŸ“² Tracking Link and ETA Notifications

On the day of delivery, you may receive:

  • An email and/or SMS with a tracking link

  • A 30–45 minute ETA window

Important notes:

  • ETA may change after the driver starts the route due to traffic or delays at earlier stops.

  • Third-party SMS services may block messages; please check your email if you do not receive an SMS.

  • If you do not receive a tracking link by 10:00 AM for daytime delivery or 4:00 PM for evening delivery, please contact our support team.

Once the driver is near your location, the tracking ETA may stop updating, indicating imminent delivery.


❗ Delivery Delays and External Factors

Delivery times may be affected by:

  • Traffic congestion

  • Weather conditions

  • Road closures

  • Building access restrictions

Mealboy is not responsible for delays caused by factors beyond our control, but we always aim to deliver within the stated time windows.

Due to long-distance delivery routes, meals may arrive cool to maintain food safety during transport.
